Established in 1998, JINSHAN is a dedicated medical equipment company focused on the development, manufacturing, and sales of GI solutions. Renowned for introducing China's first capsule endoscope in 2004, we have, over more than two decades, fostered a series of cutting-edge medical devices characterized by "minimally invasive, disposable, intelligent, integrated, and networked" features. Our product line spans diagnostics for the stomach, small intestine, and colon, esophageal motility checks, reflux monitoring, and a variety of endoscopic tools，which have reached over 80 countries and regions.

Our global headquarters in Chongqing, China, occupies a sprawling campus of 60,000 M2 and houses over 650 employees, including approximately 150 engaged in research. With leading-edge research teams, extensive research facilities and robust resources, we are committed to bringing world-class GI solutions to the market.

HISTORY

In 2004, we celebrated a significant milestone—unveiling China's first capsule endoscope，making us the world's second capsule endoscope manufacturer. Rooted in our responsibility to public health, we embraced Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology, cultivating a culture of continuous innovation. Over two decades, this commitment has given rise to a suite of high-tech medical devices, characterized by features such as being "minimally invasive, disposable, intelligent, integrated, and networked." Our product line now spans stomach, small intestine, and colon diagnostics, esophageal motility checks, reflux monitoring, and a variety of endoscopic tools. Following the successful validation of our products, our international foray began in 2007, with our products now spanning over 80 countries and regions, reaching more than 5,000 medical institutions worldwide.

HISTORY

In 2023, the company achieved another significant milestone with the establishment of its first international subsidiary, Jinshan Netherlands. This subsidiary officially began operations, positioned as the European hub for research and services, emphasizing commitment to delivering state-of-the-art medical solutions to a broader patient base.

In 2023, Jinshan also introduced the MANOalpHa High Resolution Manometry system for esophageal measurements, further enhancing its product offerings for upper gastrointestinal diagnostics.

The year 2022 witnessed the launch of the dual-headed colon capsule endoscope, signifying our comprehensive solution for the entire gastrointestinal digestive system.

Building on this momentum, in 2021, Jinshan introduced the fully automated magnetically controlled capsule endoscopy system for gastric examinations. Integrating AI technology, this groundbreaking system enable fully automated capsule gastroscopy and redefining capsule gastroscopy.

In 2019, Jinshan introduced the High-definition small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy System, equipped with the Vuesmart software utilizing patented artificial intelligence algorithms. This innovation elevated sensitivity by 10.7% and reduced reading time by 89.3%, revolutionizing the way physicians read images and marking the commencement of our journey into cutting-edge innovative technology.

By 2018, Jinshan introduced its endoscopic Irrigation Pump and CO2 Insufflator, both of which are essential for standardized digestive endoscopy. This launch further expanded Jinshan's portfolio of endoscopic instruments.

In 2016, Jinshan launched its High Frequency Argon Plasma Electrosurgery Unit, an essential tool for gastroenterology procedures that is suitable for use across multiple departments. This device was also included in the National Key R&D Program.

In 2013, Jinshan's pH capsule monitoring system obtained the medical device registration certificate, officially ushering the company into the era of a diversified product line.

The dawn of 2010 witnessed the successful development of the first and second generations of magnetically-controlled capsule.

In 2007, OMOM capsule endoscopy systems were included in the United Nations procurement catalog, Obtained European CE mark, as well as registrations in Canada and Russia. This marked the official entry into the international market. Over the next two years, Jinshan's products reached over 3,000 hospitals in 62 countries and regions worldwide.

Fast forward to 2004, after six years of dedicated efforts, Jinshan successfully developed and produced China's first capsule endoscope, OMOM Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy System. Clinical trials were conducted in four public hospitals in China, and in the next year, the company officially obtained the medical device registration certificate from the National Medical Products Administration.

In 1998, inspired by his grandfather's struggles with anesthesia-free gastroscopy, Wang Jinshan founded Jinshan with a mission to make medical innovations accessible.
