OMOM® Patency Capsule is a dissolvable capsule for pre-procedure gastrointestinal patency assessment. It identifies intestinal stricture risks before capsule endoscopy to mitigate potential capsule retention.

Constructed from biocompatible, dissolvable materials, the capsule is designed to disintegrate after the period specified in the approved instructions for use if retained in the bowel. A favourable patency result reduces, but does not eliminate, the risk of capsule retention.
